Kimmortal is a queer Vancouver based musician and artist. Raised in Surrey to parents from Pangasinan and Negros Occidental, they weave their queerness and politics into rituals of joy and imagination. A student of wordsmiths within hip hop and spoken word within activist communities, they spent their early years listening to poetry in their headphones, painting in art school cubicles, and acting on theatre stages.

They have toured throughout Canada, the US, UK, Spain and Germany. Kimmortal has released three LP albums — Shoebox (2023), X Marks the Swirl (2019), and Sincerity (2014) — along with the EP Sunniest of Days (2025), collaborating with artists such as Bobby Sanchez, Shad K, and Superknova, and opening for artists like Ruby Ibarra and Thundercat.

Today, Kimmortal reclaims their narrative through "making whatever they want," leaning into their weirdo inner child, and exploring sonic possibilities, always with collective resistance at top of mind.
